Video shows Bridgeport officers being dragged by car

News 12 Connecticut has obtained video showing two Bridgeport police officers being dragged by a car.
Police say the incident happened around 1 a.m. Wednesday at Jewett Avenue and Peet Street. They say the officers pulled over 22-year-old Naquan Clarke, of Queens, New York, after his plates came back as stolen.
Police say Clarke sped away, dragging the officers about 30 feet after they asked him to exit the vehicle.
Footage of the incident was captured by the police department's new body and dashboard cameras, which have been in use for less than two weeks.
Bridgeport Police Chief AJ Perez says Clarke, a United States Marine who remains at large, would have been released from custody after receiving a misdemeanor summons but now faces felony assault charges.
The officers were treated at the hospital for injuries not considered life-threatening and released.
