Bay Ridge school honors presidents
The social studies department at Holy Angels Catholic Academy found a way to have leaders of the United States leap from the history books onto center stage.
Seventh-graders played secret agents, while eighth-graders had to memorize speeches in honor of Presidents Day.
Presidents featured included Franklin D. Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama.
The social studies department started the Presidents Day speeches and skits five years ago as a way to enhance the program, but they've now become tradition.
