Surveillance video shows the moment a suspect shoots a man in the Bronx, police say. 

The incident happened on Jan. 15 around 4 a.m. at the corner of Stratford Avenue and Westchester Avenue.

The video shows a 27-year-old man running behind a car as a hooded and masked gunman chases him.

The gunman is seen firing several shots, striking the man multiple times in his foot and behind before running away.

Police say the shooting is gang related and believed to be a retaliation. 

Police say the victim was transported to Jacobi Medical Center in critical but stable condition and is expected to be OK.
