A singer from the Bronx is raising money for victims of Hurricane Maria.
Angie Rose, 26, has launched a relief effort for Puerto Rico by holding benefit concerts and collecting donations.
"I just love what this represents, and that's what I want this to mean,” says Rose. “You are unstoppable - but not by yourself."
The hip-hop artist has already made one relief trip to Puerto Rico, during which she provided meals to victims. Rose tells News 12 that the trip was funded by merchandise sales and a relief concert.
Rose says she now has support from FEMA and the Ricky Martin Foundation. She says she plans to return to the island in January.
