Police are searching for a man they say is targeting elderly victims around the borough and stealing their banking information.
Officials say the suspect, caught on surveillance video, has withdrawn more than $1,200 from various ATMs after duplicating his victims' debit cards.
On Sept. 14, police say he took $589 from a 69-year-old woman's bank account at an ATM on 18th Avenue.
They say between Sept. 18 and Sept. 20, he allegedly took a total of $700 from an 81-year-old man's account at five different Chase banks.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
