Bronx residents clean up following weekend snowfall

Bronx residents were cleaning up Sunday after inches of snow blanketed the borough on Saturday.
The Westchester Avenue Car Wash had a busy day, as residents rushed to get their cars cleaned from the snow.
The Close Avenue Tire Shop also saw increased business after the snow.
Jorge Aponte, an employee at the tire shop, says they sold nearly four times as many tires on Sunday.
Salt was also scattered on roads and sidewalks to prevent the snow from turning to ice.
Residents in the Bronx told News 12 that the city has done a pretty good job keeping streets safe.
