A man hit five officers with a car in Flatlands while evading arrest, police say.
The incident happened Sunday near Avenues L and J just after 11 a.m.
According to police, they received a 911 call about a man with a gun who was arguing with neighbors about a parking spot.
Once on scene, police say they witnessed the suspect in the street with a gun tucked inside of the waistband of his pants.
According to police, an officer fired a round to make the suspect drop his weapon.
However, the suspect instead attempted to flee the scene in a car.
He clipped five officers, ultimately losing control and crashing.
All of the officers were taken to Kings County Hospital with bumps and bruises, and were later released.
The 33-year-old suspect was placed in police custody. He was not injured during the incident, and is expected to be charged.
