Police say they have arrested a man connected to the murder of a woman in Concourse Village.

Officials say 48-year-old Ricardo Colon was arrested Saturday and charged with the murder of 45-year-old Veronica Fuentes.

The victim, who is of Puerto Rican decent, was found in her first floor apartment on Teller Avenue Thursday morning.

Fuentes received daily health care service from an aide.

When Fuentes didn't answer the door on Thursday, the aide called Fuentes' mother, who had a spare key.

Police say the two then entered the apartment and found the body.

Neighbors and family members say Fuentes lived in the apartment with a boyfriend.
