Police say a woman was found stabbed to death inside her apartment Thursday morning.

The woman was found in a first-floor apartment at 1068 Teller Ave.

The victim's family identified her as Veronica Fuentes, a woman in her mid-40s and of Puerto Rican descent.

Fuentes received daily health care service from an aide. When Fuentes didn't answer the door Thursday, the aide called Fuentes' mother, who had a spare key. They entered the apartment and found the body.

Neighbors and family say Fuentes lived in the apartment with a boyfriend.

There was no information available on a suspect or motive.
