Senators Murphy, Blumenthal help introduce new bill on gun control

Connecticut Senators Chris Murphy and Richard Blumenthal have helped introduce a new bill on gun control.
The legislation ensures federal agencies and state governments report relevant criminal history to the FBI's database of gun buyers.
Murphy says passing the bill won’t be easy, but it's finally a step in the right direction.
"I think this has a chance of passage but I’m not naïve, I know that gun bills are really hard to move through congress,” says Murphy. “John Cornyn, my partner on this, is the second ranking Republican so if anybody can get it called up for a vote, he can but I know these things are never easy."
