Patrizia's of Brooklyn is serving up classic old world Italian dishes in Williamsburg.
A taste of Italy tucked inside Brooklyn, for nearly a decade Patrizia's has been serving up traditional dishes like homemade pasta and vodka sauce, to loyal customers who say when you're here, you feel like family.
Owner Antonia Alaio says he was born into the restaurant business, and customers can taste generations of hard work with every homemade bite.
"Pizza, a lot of the homemade pasta as they are family recipes from a long time and then a lot of ones that we've been in the business for the last 30 years in the family, slowly through time you learn a lot," Alaio says.
He says their secret to success is good food and an atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Customers can't get enough of their baked stuffed clams, burrata served up with mixed vegetables and tomato salad.
The dough is made from scratch and baked inside of a wood-fire oven.
"We try to bring old world recipes into the new world," Alaio says.
The dishes are getting such rave reviews, the family run business is opening up its eighth restaurant in Brooklyn in late November.
