Seatless L train reportedly vandalized on first day of operation

The new L train with folding seats created to give commuters more space was reportedly vandalized.
According to the Daily News, the train was pulled from service Wednesday, less than a day after it debuted. 
Metal brackets were bent and cables were ripped out of one of the seats. 
The train was sent to a repair yard, and was put back in service Thursday night.
