One Bronx man is using his clothing business to give back to people with disabilities.
J.C Polonia, 22, started an online clothing store, True Abilities, to inspire and motivate people who have disabilities.
Some of the T-shirts feature words like “limitless” and “strength.”
Polonia donates 10 percent of the company’s profits to “The Ability Experience,” a nonprofit organization for people with disabilities.
He says he was inspired to help others after going through a personal experience when he was younger.
“I was paralyzed for six months of my life,” said Polonia.
Even though he is not paralyzed anymore, Polonia said he is pushing for a world where disabled people have the same opportunities as everybody else.
