The Bedford-Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation celebrated its 50th anniversary Saturday with a free music and arts festival on Fulton Street.
The Restoration Rocks! Music Festival featured rapper Talib Kweli, Les Nubians, Soul Science Lab and DJ Spinna.
It also had food vendors and pop-up shopping for the crowd to explore.
The organization has seen the neighborhood through many economic and social changes over the last five decades, but organizers say they are still committed to making Bed-Stuy thrive.
