Seasonably appropriate temperatures came to Brooklyn for the latter half of this week, but it doesn't seem set to last.
A number of people in McCarren Park still seemed to be clinging to their shorts, but most others by and large appeared to have switched to pants and light jackets to accommodate the cooler weather.
"It actually feels like fall for the first time," said Melanie Herring. "It's nice to be able to put on my sweatshirt and my boots and walk outside and not feel like I'm hot or sweating."
High temperatures this Sunday are expected to be around 80 degrees. After that, the rest of next week will see daytime highs ranging from the low-60s to low-70s.
