Councilman Mathieu Eugene is collaborating with the East Flatbush community to launch a new relief effort for victims of the recent natural disasters in Puerto Rico, the Caribbean and Mexico.
Donations like first aid supplies, diapers, baby food, batteries, flashlights, toothbrushes, soap and feminine hygiene products can be dropped off at Eugene’s East Flatbush office at 900 Rodgers Ave, or at local schools, including P.S. 139.
“There is a large number of people who still don’t have electricity, who still don’t have access to water, who still can’t communicate with their loved ones,” says Eugene.
