'Hip Hop for Hunger' fundraiser helps food insecure homes
Bronx businesses and artists used their talents for a good cause Saturday during the "Hip Hop for Hunger" fundraiser at the Andrew Freedman Home.
The event, presented by the Eat NYC The Bronx Food and Wine Festival, helped raise money for food insecure homes, where the Bronx ranks highest among the Five Boroughs.
It featured a fashion show, plenty of food and drinks, and appearances by hip hop legends Melle Mel and Grand Master Caz.
Proceeds from the event benefited the Food Bank For New York City.
