A Bayville man has been accused of driving drunk with two young children in his car.

Police say they received a call about a man driving erratically on Bayville Avenue in Bayville Monday evening.

When they found the car, they say Carlos Ruiz-Salazar was slumped over the wheel and drunk.

They say two children, ages 2 and 3, were in the car as well.

Ruiz-Salazar is charged with two counts of driving while intoxicated under Leandra’s Law and endangering the welfare of a child.

It’s not clear if the children are his kids.
