Residents of a women's transitional housing facility say they are fed up with living conditions there.
Susan's Place is meant to help shelter women as they seek permanent housing, but crumbling and leaking ceilings are prompting some tenants to cover their beds in plastic and demand a fix.
At issue is the building's faulty roof, residents say.
The Department of Homeless Services, which operates the facility, says it is working with a nonprofit housing provider to make improvements.
