Soundview gas station worker terrorized by armed robbers

A Bronx man working the overnight shift at a gas station was robbed at gunpoint Sunday in Soundview.
Munir Ahmed, 48, says it was the scariest moment of his life when two men with guns attempted to rob the gas station he was working at on Soundview Avenue around 4 a.m.
"They said ‘give me your money,’” he says. “I didn't want to argue with them because I was scared."
Video obtained by News 12 The Bronx shows one man standing watch as the other jumps over the counter and points his gun in Ahmed's face. The video shows one robber shooting two bullets, but missing Ahmed.
Ahmed says he pretended to be hit by the bullet so he could safely roll away. He says the gunman then dragged him back to the cash register and forced him to open it.
Workers say the two suspects got away with more than $700, stealing the money out of the lotto machine and from the business.
Police say one suspect may have sustained an injury because he was seen limping away from the scene.
