This week's dogs are up for adoption at the Smithtown Animal Shelter. The shelter is located at 410 E Main St. in Smithtown. Their phone number is (631) 360-7575.
Hennessy - approximately 6-year-old boxer mix. She is best as an only pet and with slow introduction to people. Once she knows you, it's love! She loves walkies and her toys.
Dinah - a long timer at the shelter, and we really don't know why. She is an approximately 5-year-old bull terrier/corgi. Dinah is s very smart girl and needs a job! She's not a dog you keep in your yard, but if you want a friend to accompany you on hikes or runs..she's the one. No cats or small dogs...best with males but some females.
Sammi - approximately 7-year-old Cane Corso. She came in emaciated and abused. She is initially fearful of strangers, but just wants to love and be loved. She is best in a quiet home with no other pets.
