Forecast: Upper-50s overnight; mostly cloudy Friday ahead

New Jersey saw mainly cloudy skies with cooler temperatures in the low-70s Thursday.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that Thursday saw lower humidity than the state has seen recently. Curren says that this summer has been the most humid summer on record for the state.

Thursday’s overnight hours may see areas of foggy weather with temperatures in the upper-50s and low-60s.

Friday is expected to see mostly cloudy skies with temperatures in the mid-70s. The sun may shine through on parts of the state for a time. Rain is possible overnight.

Saturday may start off slightly rainy, but the sunshine should increase by the afternoon. High temperatures are expected to be around 74 degrees.

Sunday should see a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures in the low-70s.
