This week's dogs are up for adoption at the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter. The shelter is located at 51 Lamar St. in West Babylon. Their phone number is (631) 643-9270.
Panda came to the shelter as the result of a neglect case. The shelter first met her several years ago and again numerous times over the years in between, when she was running the neighborhood. (Panda has been adopted!)
Duke was surrendered by his owners who found themselves unable to provide an environment that would keep him contained. Duke has a history of digging to get out of his yard.
Riley came in as a stray and he announced himself the moment he walked in. Riley has now adjusted and quieted down, accepting that he is stuck with the shelter until he finds his forever home.
