Man accused of dumping body to appear in court; search continues for accomplice

The man who is accused of dumping a woman's body in the median of Route 22 in Branchburg is expected in court as police continue to search for his alleged accomplice.
David DeSantos has a detention hearing on Monday. He's charged with disturbing human remains.
Police said the body of Ashley Castro was found April 5.
Investigators said DeSantos and an accomplice, identified as Nicole Barbour, moved Castro from a nearby motel and concealed her remains between the bushes and high grass.
Barbour is white, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 106 pounds, and has green eyes and blond-brown hair. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact authorities.
