Solar company On Force Solar created technology hub with Bronx Community College

A local solar company is working with Bronx Community College to create a technology hub for startup companies.

On Force Solar and Bronx Community College will get tax benefits for the project as part of the state's Start-Up New York incentive. Start-Up New York, created by Gov. Andrew Cuomo, is a business incentive program that helps small businesses expand. In return, businesses do not have to pay state taxes.

The technology hub will be part of an off-campus location in Hunts Point that is set to open late next year. On Force CEO Charles Feit says he looks forward to working with the students and teaching them about solar power.
