Brides March against domestic violence held on Grand Concourse

Hundreds of women taking a stand against domestic violence participated in the 14th annual Brides March on the Grand Concourse Friday.
The survivors and supporters wore bride's dresses in memory of Gladys Ricart who was killed by a former boyfriend on her wedding day.
According to the mayor's office, 16 people in the Bronx were murdered by a partner last year.
Walkers say the event is meant to raise awareness about abusive relationships.
The event ended in East Harlem with a closing ceremony.
