Weather update: Coastal storm bringing spotty showers, wind to the Bronx

A coastal storm will bring spotty showers and windy weather to the borough throughout the day.

According to News 12 meteorologists, light rain will become more steady this afternoon before tapering off.

High rainfall totals are not likely in the city, but wind gusts will keep it feeling chilly with temperatures sticking to the low 60s.

The evening New York Yankees game won't have perfect weather, but should be largely unaffected.

Friday turns warmer, leading into a sunny weekend with temperatures peaking near 80 by Sunday.
