Gun buyback returns to the Bronx

The Bronx will be holding another gun buyback program Saturday at three locations.

Handguns and assault rifles will get $200, while operable rifles and shotguns will get $20. People will be able to collect up to $600 for any guns they turn in.

Bronx District Attorney Robert Johnson says this is the fifth buyback the Bronx has held, with the most successful one seeing more than 800 weapons turned in.

The locations where the buyback is being held are the Fordham Evangelical Church on Walton Avenue, the New Gospel Temple Church of God on Minford Place and Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church on Bronxwood Avenue.
