Police release jewelry photos to help identify woman found near Shorehaven Condominiums in Clason Point

Police are asking for the public's help identifying a woman whose body was found on the rocks near the gated Shorehaven Condominiums in Clason Point Wednesday.

Police did not say whether the woman's body washed up on the rocks, but they did say she had a wound on her forehead and mucus around her nose.

The NYPD released photos of jewelry found on the body. Police hope someone will recognize the items and help officers identify the woman.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
