Day of Remembrance held in the Bronx to honor residents who perished on 9/11

A special tribute was held Friday in honor of Bronx residents who lost their lives on Sept. 11.

The remembrance ceremony was held at 851 Grand Concourse. Friends and family members paid their respects to the 144 Bronx residents who perished 13 years ago.

The Bronx Global Learning Institute for Girls performed, and some students from the school gave speeches about what Sept. 11 means to them.
