Bronx rapper Produkt is working to change the face of his industry.

He founded his label, Legacy Records Incorporated, in 2006. Since then, he has released two free mixtapes.

Produkt is gaining momentum in the underground music scene with five nominations at the Underground Music Awards, including Song of the Year. He says his aim is to put Puerto Rico back on the map in hip-hop.

The lyricist is working on his first album, which is set to drop this spring.
