Bronx residents attend job fair at Hutchinson Metro Center

Bronx residents attended a job fair Wednesday at Hutchinson Metro Center in Westchester Square.

More than 250 people attended the event, resumes in hand, to meet 44 different businesses with open positions.

The Hire Job Fair is part of a new program created by grants secured by State Sen. Jeff Klein.

As of July, 11.2 percent of Bronx residents are unemployed.
