Police have released a picture of a gun they recovered after an 18-year-old shot another teen on East 172nd Street and Stratford Avenue.
Officials say two officers saw the suspect firing the handgun as he walked down the busy street.
The officers ordered the suspect to drop the gun.
He was then arrested and charged with attempted murder, among other things.
