A 20-month-old boy died Friday afternoon at Bronx Lebanon Hospital after he had trouble breathing.
Police found the boy lying on a bed in an apartment at 1374 College Ave. Two people who know the owner of the apartment tell News 12 The Bronx she runs a daycare and the boy who died is the son of one of her good friends.
A medical examiner will determine the boy's official cause of death.
