Sinkhole repaired for 2nd time in a week on Wilson Avenue in Williamsbridge

The Department of Environmental Protection was in Williamsbridge Friday to fix a sinkhole for the second time in a week.
The sinkhole appeared again on Wilson Avenue, just a week after it first showed up.
City workers filled the hole last week, but residents say filling it did nothing to help, as it just sunk right back into the hole. Erick Medina's house is right behind the sinkhole and he says he covered it up so nobody would fall into it.
City workers say filling the hole was temporary and they were back on the scene Friday for a permanent fix. A broken sewage pipe causing the sinkhole was repaired.
