Rain creates messy morning commute in the Bronx
Overnight rainfall made for a messy morning commute Wednesday.
The Bronx saw less than an inch of rain, with the worst of the storm hitting farther east, but there was still some flooding in usual spots.
The heavy rain made for some puddles and slippery roads from Lafayette Avenue to Van Cortlandt Park. Spotty showers continued until midday, when the sun made a return.
Residents told News 12 The Bronx that they are hoping for nicer weather this weekend.
