Police Commissioner Bill Bratton gives interview on death of Eric Garner, challenges facing NYPD

Police Commissioner Bill Bratton is bringing attention to several big challenges facing the NYPD.
Bratton was interviewed today on "CBS This Morning," his first such appearance since an officer apparently placed Eric Garner in a fatal chokehold on Staten Island last month. Garner died on July 17 while police were trying to arrest him on the suspicion of selling untaxed cigarettes.
The medical examiner ruled his death a homicide by chokehold and other health-related factors. Bratton says he is withholding comment until the investigation is complete.
The commissioner added that the NYPD is taking measures to help rebuild relations with communities across the city.
