Bronx natives meet up for 14th annual Old-Timer’s Stickball Reunion
The annual Old-Timer's Stickball Reunion continued for the 14th year in the Bronx.
One day a year, a group of Bronx men come back to Hoe Avenue and East 167th Street to play a game of stickball in the same place they did when they were boys.
The same original group of friends met to play stickball for many years and went to school at Saint John Chrysostom in the 1960s.
One of the organizers says it feels amazing to get to come back and play stickball on the same street with his friends again.
After almost 50 years of being friends, the men have children and grandchildren who also showed up to play and keep the tradition alive.
