Eastchester residents complain of garbage on Dyre Avenue

Some Eastchester residents are fed up with a heaping pile of garbage that they say is growing larger by the day.
One resident contacted News 12 about the trash, which is scattered in a grassy lot at Dyre Avenue and Light Street, which is near a subway station.
Tires, car parts, shoes and soda cans are just some of the many things that have been discarded in the neighborhood.
News 12 reached out to city officials, including the MTA, to find out who is responsible for cleaning up the area, but has not yet heard back.
