Police seek 2 men who snatched gold chain off woman on Webster Avenue

Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding the two men who snatched a necklace off a Bronx woman's neck on Webster Avenue.

Police say two men walked up to Janet Ortiz and snatched a gold chain off her neck on Webster Avenue at around 5 p.m. Friday.

Surveillance video released by police shows the two men responsible.

Ortiz tells News 12 The Bronx that she will not press charges if she receives the necklace back because of its sentimental value. She says that the chain belonged to her father who died 13 years ago.
