Fans relish last game of World Cup at Bronx Alehouse
World Cup fans were in full swing Sunday watching the final game between Germany and Argentina.
Fans at the Bronx Alehouse watched the game intensely as they cheered on their favorite team.
Fans told News 12 that Germany vs. Brazil was one of the most exciting games in years, and that World Cup popularity has really grown in the U.S.
Every though some fans were sad that the U.S. didn't make it to the finals, they said they were happy to be part of the fun and energetic competitiveness.
Germany, the now four-time world champions and the first European team to win it on South American soil, earned the honor of lifting the most recognized trophy in sports after a 1-0 victory in a final as terrific as the tournament itself.
