Bronx teacher Anthony Criscuolo sentenced to 14 years in rape of 5th-grader

A Bronx teacher that had been charged with raping a fifth-grader multiple times was sentenced Monday.



Anthony Criscuolo, 41, was sentenced to 14 years in prison followed by 18 years post-release supervision.



Criscuolo took a deal and pleaded guilty to one count of rape. He also had to sign over his rights to teach once he is out of prison, and he will have to register as a sex offender.



Criscuolo was a special education teacher at P.S. 386.
