Wake held for Miguel Dircio after fatal beating outside St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church

Family and friends paid their respects Friday at the wake of the Bronx homeless man who was beaten to death near a local church.

Police say Miguel Dircio was attacked by three people in front of St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church in June.

Two of the suspects, Angel Monegro and Noel Martinez, have been charged with manslaughter in the fatal beating.

Dircio's wake was held at the Ortiz Funeral Home on Willis Avenue. His body will be transported back to his home country, Mexico.
