Ghanaian restaurant hosts World Cup matchup

A Ghanaian restaurant on the Grand Concourse is hosting some diehard fans for the USA vs. Ghana World Cup matchup Monday night.

Papaye on McClellan Street has big-screen TVs for both American and Ghanaian fans. Ghana eliminated USA in the 2010 World Cup in the Round of 16.

While many Americans are hoping for redemption, Ghanaians told News 12 they believe this might be their time for a run at the World Cup.

Tonight's Group G matchup is the first for the United States. They will play again on Sunday against Portugal.
