Rain, thunder and lightning coming to the Bronx

A severe thunderstorm is bringing some wild weather to the Bronx, including torrential rain, thunder and lightning.

There were some peaks of sunshine Friday, but it was very short-lived.

Residents can expect a round of showers and storms Friday evening. A flash flood watch will remain in effect until midnight.

In addition to the rain, there will be fog. A marine dense fog advisory will remain in effect until 6 a.m. Saturday.
