One local dance group will be playing an important role in Sunday's Puerto Rican Day Parade in Manhattan.

Members of Danza Fiesta: Baile y Teatro Puertorriqueño have been rehearsing fervently ahead of their big march down Fifth Avenue.

The group has participated in past parades, but this year will mark their first as the opening act.

They will have 50 members participating in the parade.
