Bronx man killed by alleged drunk driver
(07/14/03) CO-OP CITY - An alleged drunk driver killed a Bronx man early Monday morning. Police say the 37-year-old was crossing Co-op City Boulevard when a car traveling eastbound on Bartow Avenue hit him. He died at the scene.
Police have arrested and charged Bronx resident David Reed with DWI and vehicular manslaughter.
The name of the victim has not been released. Police in the Bronx are continuing their investigation.
