Power back on in the Bronx, all of NYC

Con Edison says power has been restored to the Bronx and all of New York City.

The power returned to all of New york at 9:03 p.m., just under 29 hours after it first went out. There is still no subway service, but that is expected to change come Saturday afternoon.

All Broadway shows went on Friday and the Mets took the field at Shea Stadium.

The mayor warned residents that all city beaches remain closed due to water contamination from sewage runoff during the blackout.

Public pools are open and there are cooling centers set up in each of the boroughs for anyone who still may not have power.
