BX residents asked to conserve on first full workday since the blackout

Conserving power on first full workday in the BX since the blackout is crucial.

Life in the Bronx is getting back to normal following the blackout of 2003. The subways were rolling once again and residents headed back to work.

Although some are getting back into the swing of things, business owners say that their power is still not at full capacity. The blackout caused many businesses to lose thousands of dollars.

And because power is still very delicate, Con Ed is urging everyone to conserve energy.
