Gas prices shooting up throughout The Bronx
The next time you pull up to the gas pump, you may be in for a surprise. Gas prices in the Bronx are on the rise, at some stations, prices are up to $2 a gallon.
Financial analysts say retailers are feeling the squeeze as wholesalers are running up the prices. Political tension in Nigeria, instability in Venezuela and the continuing problems in Iraq are some of the reasons analysts say investors are scared of the gasoline market.
Analysts say the prices are probably not coming down anytime soon. They say the gas levels are the lowest they have been in nine months.
